Issues & Concerns
Chase Carson upholds many core values, such as education, healthcare, and social justice. He is not afraid to shy away and hide his beliefs. However, at the same time, he is open-minded to new ideas and concepts. We need a leader to stand up for what they believe in, but also listen to others concerns and not dismiss them. Chase Carson values and encourages others to voice their ideas and opinions so that instead of fighting, he can work together to improve whatever issues may arise. Health Care
When Chase was 11, he was diagnosed with cancer, so healthcare is extremely important to him. He is truly passionate about this issue, as it is one that he has had plenty of experience dealing with, and it's an issue that impacts so many people in the community. Chase holds this issue close to his heart, working day in and day out to find ways to improve the cause. Chase aims to find ways to work with local healthcare professionals to improve on ways to provide adequate and efficient care to all people within the community.
The Community and Environment
Chase is proud to support and push for change throughout the community. This is an issue that has been impacting countless in the community, especially during COVID-19. Chase wants to help bring more businesses, both local and chains to London to create more jobs and opportunities for those in the community so they do not need to feel the need to leave London. Chase also wants to help preserve and expand the beauty of London by creating more parks like the Veterans and Wellness park, improving Levi Jackson, and even making the London-Corbin airport a warm and welcoming place for pilots and visitors alike to enjoy.
Education
Chase is super passionate about educating and working with students in the community. Chase went to elementary, middle, and high school in London, and by the end of spring 2022, he will have received his BBA in Business with a focus in Accounting, and later working on his Master's. Chase knows the importance of education, and wants to help improve the rate of students going and finishing post-secondary and or vocational school. The youth is the future of not only the community, but the world. Chase is extremely passionate about working with and unlocking the potential of all students in the community.
Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity and inclusion is an issue Chase is extremely passionate about. Chase is the Founder and Director of Unity Allies which is a 501(c)(3) organization. The mission of the organization is to educate, promote, and spread awareness on diversity and inclusion. Chase wants London to be a beloved and safe community for all people despite their age, abilities, gender, race, etc. and will work and find ways to improve and make sure that everyone feels welcomed in our community.
First Responders
Chase has a tremendous respect and appreciation for all first responders. He knows how important their jobs are to make the community a safe environment. Chase wants to work with and provide first responders with the adequate resources they need to perform their jobs to the highest standards.
